A hearty and filling traditional British breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, and toast.

- 2 large eggs
- 4 slices of back bacon
- 2 sausages
- 1 cup baked beans
- 2 slices of bread
- Butter for spreading
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tomato, halved
- Mushrooms, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a large frying pan, cook the sausages over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
- Add the bacon to the same pan and cook until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- While the bacon and sausages are cooking, heat the baked beans in a small saucepan over low heat.
- In another pan, toast the bread slices until golden brown and spread with butter.
- If using, add the sliced mushrooms to the pan with the bacon and cook until browned.
- In the same pan, crack the eggs and cook to your liking (sunny side up, over-easy, etc.).
- Halve the tomatoes and add them to the pan to cook until slightly softened.
- To serve, place the eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, toast, and tomatoes on a plate. Season with salt and pepper.
Notes
- You can customize your breakfast by adding other items like black pudding or hash browns.
