Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, then add a small scoop of brownie batter on top of each cookie dough mound.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
