Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh celery sticks, for serving
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt until smooth.
  2. Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and toss until they are evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  5. Arrange the cauliflower in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to do this in batches.
  6. Air fry the cauliflower for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine the buffalo sauce and olive oil.
  8. Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to the bowl with the buffalo sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  9. Return the coated cauliflower to the air fryer and air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes to set the sauce.
  10. Serve hot with celery sticks and your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
