Description
A rich and creamy traditional Indian dish served with soft garlic naan.
Ingredients

- 1 lb Chicken breasts
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 1 Onion
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Coriander
- to taste Salt
- for garnish Cilantro
- 4 pieces Naan bread
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute.
- Add the cubed chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
- Pour in the tomato puree and stir well. Add garam masala, cumin, coriander, and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream and remaining butter. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
- For the garlic naan, mix olive oil, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Brush mixture on naan bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the naan for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden and slightly crispy.
- Serve butter chicken hot, garnished with chopped cilantro, alongside warm garlic naan.
