Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add cooked pasta to the pan and toss well to coat in the garlic butter.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Add reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley (optional) and serve immediately.
