Ingredients

- 12 large scallops
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat scallops dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add heavy cream and Dijon mustard, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Return scallops to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh scallops for the best texture.
- Do not overcrowd the skillet when searing.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
