Ingredients

  • 12 large scallops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat scallops dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear scallops for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add heavy cream and Dijon mustard, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return scallops to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
