- 1 can frosting (any flavor)
- 1 bag candy melts or chocolate chips
- Sprinkles or edible decorations
- 6-inch lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to package instructions. Allow it to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add in the frosting a little at a time, mixing until the mixture holds together but isn’t overly wet.
- Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Melt the candy melts or chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it into the center of each cake ball.
- Once all sticks are inserted, dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
- Immediately add sprinkles or edible decorations before the chocolate sets.
- Place the finished cake pops upright in a block of Styrofoam or a cake pop stand to dry completely.

- These cake pops can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
