A delicious cake topped with chocolate covered strawberries.
Ingredients

- 1 cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the cake ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While the cake cools, melt chocolate chips with shortening.
- Dip strawberries in melted chocolate, then place on parchment paper to set.
- Once the cake is cool, top it with the chocolate covered strawberries.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for better taste.
- Allow chocolate to set before placing on the cake.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
