Instructions

  4. Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  5. Add food coloring and vanilla extract, stirring well.
  6. Dip each apple in the candy mixture, coating well.
  7. Place dipped apples on a greased baking sheet to cool.
