Instructions

- In another bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
- Fold in diced apple and caramel bits.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
