  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with soy sauce and honey for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken until caramelised. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Return cooked chicken to the pan and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook rice according to package instructions.
  7. Serve chicken and broth over rice.
  8. Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with green onions.
