Ingredients

- 200g Gruyere cheese
- 200g Emmental cheese
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp kirsch (cherry brandy)
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Grate the Gruyere and Emmental cheese.
- In a pot, rub the inside with minced garlic.
- Pour in the wine and heat until simmering.
- Add the grated cheese gradually, stirring continuously.
- Mix cornstarch with lemon juice and add to the cheese mixture.
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Add kirsch, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Serve in a fondue pot with dippers.
