Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of dry white wine
  • 2 cloves of garlic, halved
  • 2 cups of grated Gruyere cheese
  • 2 cups of grated Emmental cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Bread cubes for dipping

Instructions

  1. Rub the inside of the fondue pot with garlic.
  2. Add wine and heat until simmering.
  3. Gradually stir in the cheeses until melted.
  4. Mix cornstarch with lemon juice and add to the cheese mixture.
  5. Season with pepper and nutmeg.
  6. Serve with bread cubes for dipping.
