Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In a bowl, mix cheddar cheese soup, milk, ketchup, and mustard.
  5. Combine cooked macaroni, beef mixture, and soup mixture in a baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Top with diced pickles before serving if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
