Description

  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 lb rigatoni pasta
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked rigatoni and mozzarella cheese. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Serve hot.
