- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until done (about 6-7 minutes per side). Set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add mozzarella and stir until melted and smooth.
- Slice cooked chicken and add it to the sauce along with the cooked pasta.
- Toss everything together until well coated.
- Garnish with parmesan and parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly grated mozzarella for best texture.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for spiciness.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
