A creamy and cheesy pasta bake that combines the flavors of spinach dip with tender chicken and pasta, topped with a golden cheese crust.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces rotini pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, thawed spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the chicken and spinach mixture, stirring until the pasta is evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some red pepper flakes or chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the mixture.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. Just increase the baking time by a few minutes if baking from cold.
