  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar for filling
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon for filling
  • 1/4 cup butter for filling, softened

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, chia seeds, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  8. Spread softened butter on the dough, then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  10. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
