- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 onion, chopped

- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine chicken pieces and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Add carrots, celery, and onion. Simmer until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter and milk to form a dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering broth.
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes until dumplings are fluffy.
