- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Remove chicken and let it rest for 2 minutes before slicing.
- Toast the bread slices lightly.
- Layer sliced chicken, avocado, and cheese on two bread slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices and press gently.
- Return the sandwiches to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until cheese melts.
- Serve warm.
