Description
Chicken Cordon Bleu is a classic dish made with chicken breast, ham, and cheese, breaded and baked until golden.

- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten the chicken breasts using a meat mallet.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Place a slice of ham and cheese on each chicken breast.
- Roll up the chicken tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Dredge each roll in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sear each chicken roll for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove toothpicks before serving.
Notes
- Serve with a side salad or vegetables.
- Can be made ahead and frozen.
