- 1 kg chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cook for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Add curry powder, turmeric, and coriander powder, mix well.
- Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in coconut milk and bring to a simmer.
- Season with salt and cook until chicken is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.

- Serve with rice or naan.
