Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness (about 1/2 inch).
- Soak chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne in a shallow dish.
- Dredge chicken in the flour mixture, pressing to coat evenly.
- Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
