- 1 lb (450g) cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed
- 1 cup (240ml) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup (240ml) sour cream
- 2 cups (200g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (100g) French fried onions (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, thawed hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Top with the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese and, if desired, French fried onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding chopped green onions or bell peppers to the mixture.
- You can substitute the chicken with cooked turkey or ham.
