Description
A delicious and easy chicken marsala made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup marsala wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, and flour.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown chicken on both sides, about 3-4 minutes each side.
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- Add mushrooms, garlic, marsala wine, and chicken broth.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve with pasta or rice.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on your crockpot model.
- For thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water and add in the last hour of cooking.
