  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  3. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder.
  4. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
  6. Place chicken in a baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot with pasta or a side salad.
