Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Marinate beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and sugar for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry briefly.
  3. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove from pan.
  4. In the same pan, add broccoli and water. Cover and steam for 2 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the pan, add oyster sauce, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with rice.

Notes

  • Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
  • Adjust sauce thickness with more cornstarch if needed.
