- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
