  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
