Description

A decadent chocolate-covered strawberry tart with a creamy filling and fresh strawberries, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp ice water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, mix flour, butter, and sugar until crumbly.
  3. Add egg yolk and ice water, then pulse until dough forms.
  4. Press dough into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Let cool.
  5. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  6. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture and spread over cooled crust.
  8. Arrange strawberry slices on top.
  9. Drizzle melted chocolate over strawberries.
  10. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
