- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 4 oz (115g) semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup (30g) all-purpose flour
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 4 ramekins.
- Melt butter and chocolate together in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, eggs, egg yolks, vanilla, and salt.
- Fold in flour until just combined.
- Divide batter evenly into ramekins and bake for 12 minutes.
- Let cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates. Dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Do not overbake—the center should still be liquid.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
- Top with ice cream or berries if desired.
