Ingredients

- 8 slices of bread, cubed
- 12 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread bread cubes evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard.
- Pour egg mixture over the bread cubes.
- Top with sausage, bell pepper, onion, and cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until set and golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute vegetables according to your preference.
- Add herbs for extra flavor.
