Ingredients

- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of light corn syrup
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water.
- Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts if using.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan.
- Allow to cool slightly, then cut into pieces.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the candy pieces.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
