Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Stir in vanilla and peppermint extracts, then add sour cream.
  7. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until set.
  9. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before cutting.
  10. Top with crushed candy canes before serving.
