These Christmas spritz cookies are simple and festive treats that melt in your mouth.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Colored sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg yolk, vanilla extract, and almond extract. Mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt. Mix until combined.
- Fill a cookie press with the dough and press onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Sprinkle colored sprinkles on top of each cookie.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
