Description

Delicious homemade cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and dissolve the yeast in it.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add melted butter, eggs, and the milk mixture to the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead the dough until smooth.
  5. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough and spread butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon on it.
  7. Roll it tightly and cut into slices.
  8. Place slices in a baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar with a little milk for the glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.

  • Store leftover rolls in an airtight container.
