Description
Delicious homemade cinnamon rolls topped with cream cheese frosting.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Mix warm milk and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, sugar, melted butter, salt, and cinnamon. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread brown sugar over it.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Place rolls in a baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
- Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla to make frosting.
- Spread frosting over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- Store leftover rolls in an airtight container.
- Reheat in the microwave for a few seconds.
