- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, honey, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
- Place chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
- Grill chicken thighs skin-side down for 6-7 minutes, then flip and grill for an additional 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove chicken from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding some fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary to the marinade.
- You can also use this marinade for chicken breasts or other cuts of chicken.
- Make sure to adjust the grill time if using different sizes of chicken thighs.
