Description
A classic New England clam bake featuring clams, seafood, and vegetables, steamed to perfection.
Ingredients

- 2 dozen clams, rinsed
- 1 dozen mussels, rinsed
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 ears corn, husked and cut in half
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and add the baby potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the corn to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Stir in the clams, mussels, shrimp, butter, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the pot and steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams and mussels open.
- Remove from heat and arrange the seafood and vegetables on a large serving platter.
- Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add other seafood such as lobster or crab.
- Make sure to discard any clams or mussels that do not open after cooking.
