Description
A classic steak dish with a rich mushroom sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 beef steaks (8 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Season steaks with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove steaks and set aside.
- In the same pan, sauté mushrooms, garlic, and onion until softened.
- Add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return steaks to the pan and coat with sauce.
- Sprinkle with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use ribeye or sirloin steaks for best results.
- Cook steaks to your preferred doneness.
- Adjust sauce thickness by simmering longer.
