Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

  • for garnish chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and place the whites in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Using a hand mixer, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper into the whipped egg whites.
  5. Spoon the fluffy egg white mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, creating a nest shape with a well in the center for the yolk.
  6. Bake the egg whites in the preheated oven for 3-4 minutes until slightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and carefully place a yolk in each well of the cloud. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 3-4 minutes until the yolk is set to your liking.
  8. Garnish with chopped chives and serve immediately.
