Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Beat in the egg until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for 5 minutes.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough and place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
- Cook the cookies in the air fryer for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are golden. They will continue to cook slightly after being removed from the air fryer.
- Allow cookies to cool in the basket for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
- You may need to adjust cooking time depending on your air fryer model.
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
- Experiment with different add-ins like nuts or dried fruit.
