- 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Toss fries with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt.
- Spread fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
- Remove from oven and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Return to oven for 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
- Drizzle with sour cream and hot sauce.
- Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less heat.
- Substitute Monterey Jack or pepper jack cheese for a different flavor.
