- 1/2 ripe avocado, mashed
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread mashed avocado on one slice of bread.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the avocado.
- Top with the second slice of bread.
- Butter the outer sides of the sandwich.
- Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
