Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish with tender beef and bowtie pasta, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix well. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
