- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and mix well. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
