A quick and easy one-pot pasta dish with creamy Cajun flavors and smoked sausage.
Ingredients

- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until lightly browned.
- Stir in bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
- Add pasta, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Use gluten-free pasta if needed.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
