- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it simmer for a few minutes to heat the chicken through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
