Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook rotini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked, about 6 minutes per side. Remove and slice.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, then stir in parmesan cheese and basil. Simmer for 2 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Serve hot with extra parmesan if desired.
