Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, thyme, and parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and cook for 2 more minutes.
  8. Garnish with parsley before serving.

  • Use boneless chicken thighs for a richer flavor.
