Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken, salt, and black pepper. Cook until golden and no longer pink (about 5-6 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it thicken for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
