- 8 oz pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb), sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and no longer pink (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, parmesan, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened (2-3 minutes).
- Return chicken to the skillet and add cooked pasta. Toss until fully coated.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.
- Add spinach or mushrooms for extra vegetables.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
